Do you take insurance?

I do not accept insurance for payment — however if you have out of network coverage you may qualify for partial or complete reimbursement through your insurance provider.

Check your coverage carefully and find the answers to the following questions:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  • Is there a maximum?

  • What is the maximum allowable coverage amount per out-patient office visit therapy session?

  • Does my insurance company require pre-certification?

  • Do I need a referral from my primary care physician?

I am happy to provide receipts of our sessions, known as superbills, for you to submit to your insurance company. Please keep in mind that only your insurance provider can guarantee reimbursement.

Is what we discuss confidential?

Everything we discuss in sessions will remain confidential with one exception. If a patient expresses intent to harm themselves, others, or reports an instance of child or elder abuse, I am required by law to alert the appropriate authorities. In the event of this occurrence, I will make every effort to ensure my clients safety and well-being.

Do you provide phone or web-based therapy services?

Yes! I can provide web and phone-based services on an as-needed basis when in-person sessions don’t make sense either due to availability or a life situation.
