Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences. EMDR therapy is founded on the basis that our emotional well-being is interwoven with our physical (somatic) state. During trauma, our brain processes, and stores memories incorrectly. This incorrect storage can lead to past memories feeling very present. The objective of EMDR therapy is to process these disturbing events to reduce their lingering effects and allow clients to develop healthy coping mechanisms and beliefs.

Please note that I am currently offering EMDR therapy to Pennsylvania residents virtually.
